1. My mother is my best friend

An emotional wall: a barrier in our lives that is built by our emotions and how we feel about things.
Close circle of friends, that is, a group of people in a circle that are all surrounding you, they are your circle, all facing their attentions towards you.

2. Useful words and expressions

talk to sb, 指一个人在说另外的人听，e.g. She talks to her mother on the phone every week.

talk with sb, 指两个人在互相交谈

talk at sb，指向某人大发议论

e.g.  What discussion? You weren’t talking to me, you were talking at me.

company:  1.陪伴 2. 作伴 3.同伴
e.g.

company还有两个常见的搭配:
1. good company = to be pleasant to be with, 是个好伙伴的意思

distance
distance可以指距离路程, 但是在本篇文章里面, distance是指人与人之间的距离。
